In the second quarter of 2022, the top tools apps on the Android platform in Egypt showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, as per data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at how each of these apps fared.

SHAREit: Transfer, Share Files saw a consistent download trend throughout the quarter, peaking at around 136K downloads at the end of March and gradually decreasing to approximately 123K by the end of June. The app maintained a high number of weekly active users, starting at over 3.6M and experiencing a slight decline to just over 3M by the end of the quarter.

My WE experienced fluctuating download numbers, with a notable peak of around 140K downloads in late April. The app's weekly active users remained fairly stable, starting at approximately 2.4M and ending the quarter at nearly 2.6M.

Lastly, File Recovery - Restore Files experienced an upward trend in downloads mid-quarter, peaking at around 138K in early May. Active users for this app showed a consistent increase, starting at around 56K and reaching nearly 97K by the end of June.
